ClearDesk Platform Terms
These terms apply when you create an account, sign in, or accept an invitation to use this ClearDesk workspace.
Access To The Service
ClearDesk is provided as a managed support workspace. Access is granted per organisation and per role, such as requester, agent, or admin.
Your access can be changed, suspended, or removed if:
- your role changes
- your organisation asks for it
- the workspace subscription changes
- the platform is being protected from misuse or security risk
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- misuse the service or attempt to bypass access controls
- upload harmful, unlawful, or deceptive material
- interfere with other users, organisations, or system operations
- use the platform to distribute spam, malware, or abusive content
Account Responsibility
You are responsible for:
- keeping your password and verification access secure
- using your own account, not someone else’s
- making sure your contact details are current
If you believe someone else has accessed your account, contact the organisation admin or system administrator as soon as possible.
Organisation Ownership
Tickets, replies, notes, configuration, and related data belong to the organisation workspace that manages them. ClearDesk administrators and authorised agents in that organisation may access the records needed to operate the helpdesk.
Payments And Packages
Where a workspace is created through a package purchase:
- the selected package controls included paid seats
- requester access remains free unless the package rules later change
- provisioning may depend on payment confirmation from the configured payment gateway
Availability
The platform is provided on a reasonable-effort basis. Maintenance, updates, outages, and third-party service interruptions can affect access from time to time.
Changes To The Service
Features, workflows, packages, and onboarding steps may change over time as the platform improves. Material changes should be communicated through the workspace, support communications, or related onboarding material where practical.
Ending Access
Your access may end if:
- your organisation removes you
- the workspace closes
- payment or subscription state no longer allows the service to continue
- you breach these terms
Contact
For day-to-day workspace issues, contact the organisation that invited you. For platform-level issues that the organisation cannot resolve, contact the system administrator or platform operator for this ClearDesk instance.
